Machinist

Job Summary We are seeking a Machinist to join our team! As a Machinist, you will be working with a variety of machines and manufacturing equipment as needed and per blueprint or job order specifications. The ideal candidate has exceptional attention to detail, previous experience in a manufacturing environment, and the ability to work well with minimal supervision. Responsibilities Develop/modify CNC programs, fixtures and set up sheets. Specify part holding techniques, speeds, feeds and tooling. Must be well versed in GD&T Operate and set-up machines within the department. Inspect parts and document results of inspections on in process inspection plans. Continuously monitor equipment and tooling. In the event of a breakdown or other event that would disrupt the process, notify department manager to resolve the problem. Follow the instructions on the setup sheet, drawings and/or programs. Assist with training of new team members and operators. Participate in new job reviews and design for manufacturing sessions. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and quality improvements. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Adhere to company safety requirements. Assure that assigned activities are performed in accordance with InSource Design & Manufacturing Technologies Quality System procedures, processes and standards.
