What You'll Do

• Provide expert nursing care during surgical procedures in a busy Level 1 Trauma OR
• Circulate during surgeries, with focus on Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery cases
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff
• Maintain accurate patient records in EPIC electronic health record system
• Assist in trauma, robotic, laparoscopic, and specialty surgeries
• Support unit needs during variable shifts, including call coverage as required

What You Need

• Valid Ohio Registered Nurse license
• 2 or more years of operating room nursing experience
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma setting preferred
• Certification in BLS and EPIC (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

About the Assignment

This assignment involves working in a high-acuity, diverse surgical environment at a Level 1 Trauma Center. The OR team performs a broad spectrum of surgeries, including trauma, orthopedic, neurosurgery, and transplant procedures. Flexibility is essential, as shifts may include days, evenings, and call coverage based on unit needs.
