Sales Territory Manager
Sutphen Corporation is the oldest continuously family-owned and operated fire truck manufacturer in the United States of America. With a mission to build the safest, most reliable fire trucks in the world, Sutphen has manufactured emergency fire apparatus for fire departments all over the country for more than 136 years.
Sutphen is seeking a sales territory manager to join our team in Dublin, Ohio. In this role, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to our dealer network, helping them successfully configure, quote, and sell industry-leading fire apparatus. You'll work closely with dealers, customers, engineering, production, and leadership teams to support sales growth, drive innovation, and strengthen partnerships throughout your assigned territory.

What You'll Do
Partner with and Support Our Dealer Network
- Serve as the primary technical and sales support resource for assigned dealerships.
- Assist dealers with apparatus configuration, specifications, pricing, and proposal development.
- Provide guidance on product options, capabilities, and best-fit solutions for customer needs.
- Review quotes and orders to ensure pricing accuracy and buildable configurations.
- Provide continuous product, configurator, administrative and technical training to the Dealer Network.
Drive Territory Growth
- Develop strong relationships with dealers and customers throughout your territory.
- Collaborate with dealerships to establish annual sales goals and forecast future opportunities.
- Participate in customer meetings, joint sales calls, demonstrations, and proposal presentations.
- Assist dealerships in closing sales through technical expertise and solution-based selling.
Be a Voice of Innovation
- Gather feedback from dealers and customers to help shape future product enhancements.
- Collaborate with engineering and leadership teams to improve existing products and develop new solutions.
- Support new option development, pricing strategies, and product configurator enhancements.
Represent the Sutphen Brand
- Attend regional and national trade shows, dealer open houses, customer demonstrations, and industry events.
- Coordinate customer visits, facility tours, demonstrations, and fly-in programs.
- Support marketing initiatives including social media content, product information, literature, and branding efforts.
- Serve as a professional ambassador of Sutphen's values and commitment to customer success.
