Tube Laser Set-Up / Operator - First Shift Position: Tube Laser Set-Up / Operator Location: WSM About the Organization: We are a privately-held independent metal fabrication company that produces components used in a wide range of industries. Our modern facility includes a complete in-house tool and die department and fastener distributorship. Job Description: The tube laser operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the tube laser. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Setup, operate, and monitor programs on the tube laser Read work orders to determine programming requirements Perform consistent and accurate quality checks to detect and prevent part defects Load and unload material Accurately complete paperwork for work orders, inspections, and material storage Troubleshoot cut issues and know how to fix them Perform prescribed & preventative maintenance Find, pull, and load material into the machine Qualification Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age or older Strong work ethic High School diploma or GED required Team player with a positive, 'can do' attitude Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform precise measurements using a caliper/precision measuring tools Blueprint reading Additional Experience (Not Required) Previous tube laser set‑up, operating and/or programming experience Previous experience in a manufacturing environment A certificate from college or technical school is a plus Benefits We offer competitive benefits including tuition reimbursement, health, dental, vision, and life insurance, short and long-term disability, generous 401(k) match, paid holidays and paid time off, a profit sharing program, employee and family activities, and a lucrative sign‑on bonus for hired candidates.
