Maintenance Lead - 3rd Shift

Job Summary

This person will be responsible for the repair and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment used in the manufacturing plant. He/She will also be responsible for performing and assisting with preventative maintenance tasks on all plant equipment. Additionally, will lead and develop maintenance personnel within the assigned shift.


Repair and troubleshoot mechanical equipment.

Repair and troubleshoot electrical/electronic equipment.

Perform and/or assist with preventive maintenance.

Lead & develop maintenance technicians within assigned shift.


Other duties as assigned by management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must have working knowledge of 480 Volt 3 phase power, logic controllers, motor starters and variable frequency drives.

Must be able to read and follow written directions.

Experienced with troubleshooting PLC based control systems desired.

Ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings and specifications.

Strong background in electrical troubleshooting is highly recommended.

Welding and fabrication skills considered a plus.

Education and Experience

3+ years of electrical maintenance experience.

3+ years of mechanical maintenance (including preventative maintenance) experience.

5+ years of lead experience within a manufacturing environment.

Texas Journeyman Electrician License desirable.,

Physical Requirements and/or Working Conditions

Factory Distribution environment will include some heavy lifting, and areas where eye protection, hearing protection, and respirators are required.
