Our client is currently seeking a Tool & Die Maker
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- A growing industrial manufacturing company located in the Chicago area is currently searching for a tool and die maker. To be considered, you must have at least 2 years of tool and die experience and be a US Citizen or Green Card Permanent resident. The successful candidate will construct and repair precision tools, dies, and fixtures, ensuring the production of high-quality components and contributing to the company's continued success. You will be responsible for the assembly of the various parts to form the completed tool or die, ensuring each piece is put together accurately and securely. You will operate various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, or grinders to fabricate the parts of the tools or dies as per the design specifications and perform testing and inspection of finished products using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards. Finally, you will conduc regular inspections of tools and dies in use, performing necessary maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance and extend their lifespan.
