Globaltech, Inc. is a design-build company of engineers and contractors that serves primarily municipal water and wastewater utilities. Our main office is located in Boca Raton, Florida. Globaltech, Inc. is seeking a motivated full time CAD Designer to join our team. The CAD Designer will join a multidiscipline group of dedicated design-build professionals to round out our engineering service capabilities in the municipal water and wastewater facilities market.

Job duties

• Incorporate engineers redlines. Prepare mechanical, civil, and electrical sketches, plans, sections, and details.
• Ensure drawings are in compliance with company and client standards.
• Use CAD software to create, edit, modify detailed 2D and #D drawings for projects
• Responsible for maintaining file directories and archiving CAD drawings
• Upload drawings to Procore (Project Management Software)
• Collaborate with project team(s) and follow through with completing assignments on schedule

Requirements

• 3-4 CAD drafter experience required
• 3-4 years of experience in Process mechanical design or piping design. Water/Wastewater utilities designpreferred
• Revit experienced preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret surveys and engineering drawings
• Familiarity with Florida engineering standards for the design of water treatment systems, wastewater treatment systems, and water distribution systems.
• Knowledge of sanitary collection systems and drainage systems a plus
• Strong knowledge of xrefs/attachments, drawing blocks and cell libraries.
• Ability to work in AutoCAD with minimum technical support.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to pass a background check and a pre-hire drug test
• Possess a valid Florida Driver License and able to pass a motor vehicle record search
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
