Position Summary

We are seeking a talented Upholstery Technician who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about impeccable craftsmanship. You will restore and create premium interiors across furniture, automotive, marine, and aviation projects, transforming client vision into reality.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and handle premium fabrics, leathers, vinyl, and other upholstery materials for custom installation.
• Design and execute custom upholstery solutions for furniture, vehicles, and specialty pieces according to client specifications.
• Develop and cut precise patterns, translating designs into detailed templates.
• Operate commercial walking-foot sewing machines, staplers, hot-knife cutters, and other hand or power tools safely.
• Maintain accurate project documentation for time, materials, and processes.
• Uphold OSHA safety regulations and internal quality standards.
• Adapt techniques and solve problems creatively to meet unique client requests.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two or more years of experience in residential or commercial upholstery (strong portfolios may offset experience).
• Formal training in automotive, aircraft, or marine upholstery is a plus.
• Proficient with leather, vinyl, cloth, carpet, and foam fabrication.
• Skilled in flat pattern layout, sewing, gluing, and use of walking-foot sewing machines.
• Strong attention to detail and appreciation for luxury finishes.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively; clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Punctual, career-oriented, and highly self-motivated.
• Physically able to stand, bend, kneel, and lift heavy components.
