Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide expert nursing care to emergency room patients in a fast-paced trauma setting. Ensure patient safety, deliver quality care, and support licensed physicians and healthcare staff.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' conditions upon arrival and prioritize care needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following protocols.
• Monitor patient status and document clinical findings accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about their conditions and post-discharge instructions.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety procedures, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state nursing license as an RN.
• Possess at least 2 years of ER experience in a Critical Access Hospital or similar setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Cerner EMR and emergency protocols.
• Maintain certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and floating as needed.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
