Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide expert nursing care to emergency room patients in a fast-paced trauma setting. Ensure patient safety, deliver quality care, and support licensed physicians and healthcare staff.

Responsibilities:

Assess patients' conditions upon arrival and prioritize care needs.
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following protocols.
Monitor patient status and document clinical findings accurately.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
Educate patients and families about their conditions and post-discharge instructions.
Adhere to hospital policies, safety procedures, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

Hold a valid state nursing license as an RN.
Possess at least 2 years of ER experience in a Critical Access Hospital or similar setting.
Demonstrate proficiency with Cerner EMR and emergency protocols.
Maintain certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and floating as needed.
Exhibit strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
