How you'll contribute
A Respiratory Therapist who excels in this role:
- Examines patients with breathing related conditions and conducts diagnostic testing.
- Consults with physicians to develop and implement a treatment plan for the patient.
- Performs physiotherapy and other treatments.
- Teaches patients to use medication.

What we're looking for Applicants should be Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist by the VA Board of Health Professions and in good standing with the board.
Additional requirements include:
- Basic Life Support certification is required upon hire.
- ACLS and PALS are required within 90 days of hire.
- 1 year of hospital-based experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
- NRP within 6 months of hire.
