Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Cardiovascular (CVS) is needed for a 13-week assignment in Rochester, Minnesota. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of recent acute care ICU nursing experience, with preferred experience in CVS ICU, ventricular assist devices (VAD), Impella, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), and balloon pumps. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position involves working in a highly specialized adult cardiac surgery and heart/lung transplant intensive care unit, providing advanced postoperative management of care.

Job Details:

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) ICU Cardiovascular
• Location: Rochester, Minnesota
• Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU CVS)
• Schedule: 36 hours per week; Day/Night rotation (0700-1930 and 1900-0730) and straight nights (1900-0730), every 3rd weekend; floating may be required
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license by applicable state requirements; minimum education includes graduation from an accredited nursing program recognized by ACEN or CCNE; at least one year of RN experience in an applicable care setting if graduated from a non-accredited program; ACLS and BLS certifications are required; ECG exam must be passed during orientation.
• Preferred Qualifications: CCRN certification; experience with ventricular assist devices (VAD), Impella, ECMO, or balloon pumps; recent travel experience preferred.
• Additional Information: Candidates must pass ECG exam during orientation to continue the assignment.
