Labor & Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Everett, Washington
Schedule: 3 × 12-hour Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Weekend Requirement: Yes
Call: No call required

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate recovery period.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, interpret fetal heart rate patterns, and recognize complications requiring intervention.
• Perform sterile vaginal examinations (SVE) to assess cervical dilation, effacement, and labor progress.
• Assist with high-risk obstetric cases and collaborate with obstetric providers and the multidisciplinary care team.
• Support patients during labor, vaginal delivery, and cesarean section procedures.
• Provide antepartum nursing care and monitor patients with high-risk pregnancies.
• Float to the Postpartum unit as needed to provide maternal and newborn care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using EPIC.
• Follow established clinical protocols and maintain patient safety standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of L&D nursing experience
• Demonstrated experience performing SVE (Sterile Vaginal Examination) — mandatory requirement.
• Current certifications required:
  • BLS/BCLS
  • ACLS
  • NRP
  • AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or Relias Fetal Monitoring
• Ability to work weekends and float to Postpartum.
• First-time travelers are welcome.

Ideal Candidate: An experienced L&D RN with strong high-risk obstetric skills, fetal monitoring knowledge, and hands-on SVE experience who is comfortable floating to Postpartum.
