Class Action Litigation Of Counsel

Position Overview

The firm seeks an Of Counsel attorney in Class Action Litigation for its Sacramento, CA office. Salary range: $272,500–$300,000, with annual bonuses, based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Defend agency charges of discrimination and other employment‑related claims.
• Handle wage and hour class or collective actions.
• Provide advice and counseling on employment‑related issues.
• Train employers on employment laws and regulations, including anti‑discrimination laws.
• Represent employers in court, administrative agencies, mediations, and arbitrations, covering discrimination, contract, employment tort, wage and hour, and non‑compete cases.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA‑accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• 9+ years of class action litigation defense experience.
• Current admission to the California State Bar and in good standing.
• Experience acting as Lead Counsel.
• In‑depth understanding of current agency (state and federal) procedures and enforcement techniques.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
