Bobbles & Lace is seeking an energetic, customer-focused  Assistant Store Director to help lead our boutique in West Chester, PA. If you love fashion, enjoy coaching a team, and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, we'd love to meet you.

As Assistant Store Director, you'll work alongside the Store Director to deliver an exceptional shopping experience, develop a high-performing team, and help grow one of the area's premier women's fashion boutiques.

What You'll Do 

Leadership

• Partner with the Store Director to lead all daily store operations.
• Coach, motivate, and develop a team of fashion stylists.
• Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and achieving sales goals.
• Help recruit, interview, onboard, and train new team members.
• Foster a positive, high-energy, and accountable team culture.
• Assume leadership responsibilities when the Store Director is away.

Sales & Customer Experience

• Create personalized styling experiences that build long-term customer relationships.
• Deliver outstanding service that drives customer loyalty and repeat business.
• Build and maintain a personal client book through outreach and follow-up.
• Achieve individual and team sales goals while maintaining a customer-first mindset.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and confidently.

Operations

• Assist with inventory management, receiving shipments, merchandising, and stock organization.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and an inviting sales floor.
• Help oversee opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure operational excellence, cleanliness, and attention to detail throughout the boutique.

Community & Brand Growth

• Support in-store events and community partnerships.
• Assist with social media content and local marketing initiatives.
• Represent the Bobbles & Lace brand with professionalism, enthusiasm, and authenticity.

Qualifications

• Retail leadership experience (Assistant Manager, Key Holder, Store Manager, or similar)
• Passion for fashion and creating exceptional customer experiences
• Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop others
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized with excellent time management
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
• Flexible availability, including weekends and occasional evenings

Boutique retail or women's apparel experience is strongly preferred.
