Hybrid Speech And Language Pathologist - Full Time

This position is for a hybrid speech and language pathologist working full time with a partial virtual schedule. The employment terms are for a 10-month period, temporary if hired after the teacher contractual start date of the 24-25 school year. The pathologist reports to the building principal, with the location to be determined. The salary is based on the current teacher salary schedule, plus a higher rate stipend.

Minimum qualifications include licensure, a master's degree, clinical practicum, and passing the national examination in speech-language pathology. Temporary licensure is available for CFY candidates.

Essential duties and responsibilities include constructing a hybrid schedule that allows up to two days of work from home, participating in the planning and provision of speech and language therapy, performing diagnostic and evaluative testing, developing and maintaining Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), maintaining adequate records of treatment and data, screening and identifying students, meeting with parents, making recommendations for the level and frequency of services, assisting other team members, and helping individuals understand communication disorders.

Physical demands include using hand and fingers to handle or feel, reaching with hands and arms, talking or hearing, standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 50 pounds, and having specific vision abilities.

Standard requirements include a favorable criminal background check and child abuse registry check, a tuberculin test and physical, and mandatory direct deposit of paycheck.
