Title:   Facilities Maintenance Staff                             

Reports to: VP, Administrative Services                                 

Status: Part-time                      

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday     4:00pm – 9:00pm                       

Position Summary: Orange Blossom Family Health is seeking a dedicated member to join our Facilities Maintenance Team.  The Facilities Maintenance Team is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for all employees and visitors.   Responsibilities include general cleaning duties such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuming, and trash disposal. 

Our ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities & Expectations:

• Perform general cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
• Dispose of trash and recycling in a timely and safe manner
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors
• Replenish bathroom supplies as needed
• Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects as required
• Report any necessary repairs or maintenance
• Adhere to health and safety regulations
• Ensure all cleaning materials and supplies are stored correctly
• Ensure facility is well maintained

Requirements:                                    

• Previous experience in a janitorial role preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning products and supplies
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
• Strong attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent time management skills

Physical Requirements:  

• Needed: Sitting, Standing, Walking, Lifting/Carrying (≥ 25 lbs), Kneeling, Pushing/Pulling, Bending/Stooping, Reaching, Repetitive Motions

Additional Information:

• Work Environment: This role requires working in a variety of settings including offices, restrooms, and common areas. The job involves physical labor and may require lifting heavy items.  The job also involves outdoor tasks such as picking up litter, sweeping walkways.
