This is an amazing opportunity for a full-time Registered (Licensed) Veterinary Technician. Qualifications and Requirements

As a Veterinary Technician Professional you already have a pretty good idea as to the day-to-day requirements of being a talented Veterinary Technician. Here are some of the key skills that we are seeking that are relevant to this opportunity:

• RVT or equivalent certification
• 1+ years of experience working as a Vet Technician
• Proficiency with surgery, anesthesia, diagnostic imaging and dentistry
• Venipuncture and IV Catheter Placement
• Vaccine and Preventative knowledge
• Medication dispensing and administering
• Collection and analysis of lab samples
• Efficiency and time management skills, as well as the ability to multi task in a fast paced environment while keeping a keen attention to detail

Core Responsibilities

The primary purpose and function of the Veterinary Technician is to support Veterinarians in ensuring quality veterinary care, advocating for pets and educating clients.

• Work collaboratively with the medical team and under the direct supervision of the Veterinarians to execute patient treatment plans
• Maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with patients, clients and coworkers - great things happen when everyone works together
• Maintain a positive, supportive team approach at all times
• Ability to escalate feedback to management rather than participating in workplace gossip
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic with a desire to continue to advance your skill set and knowledge
• Ability to work in a changing environment
