Position Overview
RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, is recruiting a full‑time, non‑operative Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician (PCSM) to support Jersey City Medical Center in Hudson County. The role offers a unique opportunity to deliver comprehensive musculoskeletal care while serving orthopedic and community health populations.
Location & Schedule
- Locations in Hoboken, Jersey City, and Madison, NJ
Salary & Compensation
Anticipated salary range: $259,000 to $434,000 per year. Compensation will depend on educational background, skills, and experience.
Benefits include health insurance, malpractice coverage (with tail), retirement plan with match, CME stipend, and robust benefits package.
Position Highlights
- Focus on non‑operative care for acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions
- Opportunity to provide interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound procedures, PRP, and other therapeutic procedures
- Work alongside an experienced team with strong community ties

Candidate Requirements
- Board‑certified/board‑eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Pediatrics
- Fellowship‑trained in Primary Care Sports Medicine
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
