Head of Wealth Distribution, Pre-IPO

About Monark. Monark is building the API infrastructure that embeds private market access directly inside wealth management and brokerage platforms. Our system enables brokerages, wealth platforms and financial advisors offer pre-IPO investments to their clients, directly embedded within the platforms they already use. Monark operates through MMM Securities LLC, a FINRA and SIPC member broker-dealer, and is backed by F-Prime Capital, Commerce Ventures, The Treasury, Grit Capital Partners, and others.

The Role. As the Head of Wealth Distribution at Monark, you'll work directly with financial advisors on the platforms we're already integrated with. We take a hands-on approach with our clients, and you'll be at the center of our pre-IPO business, making sure advisors understand the asset class and have what they need to make informed decisions for their clients. With tens of millions of accounts and hundreds of billions of dollars in AUC across our integrated platforms, this is a chance to drive a significant share of transaction volume in the pre-IPO space.

What You'll Do:

• Own relationships with financial advisors and home offices across Monark's integrated wealth platforms, from onboarding through repeat investing
• Educate advisors on pre-IPO investing: how SPVs work, how deals are structured, and the risks, so they can evaluate opportunities for their clients and communicate accordingly
• Run advisor webinars, workshops, and one-on-one sessions, and help build the materials that support them
• Work with our deal sourcing and origination teams to make sure the opportunities we bring to advisors match what they and their clients are looking for
• Partner with compliance and legal to make sure all advisor-facing communication meets regulatory standards
• Track and report on pipeline and transaction volume, and share what you learn with product and engineering

What you'll need:

• 5+ years in wealth management distribution, sales, or business development, ideally communicating alternative assets or pre-IPO companies to financial advisors
• Credible with advisors: you can explain a complex, illiquid asset class clearly
• Comfortable with the regulatory side of selling securities, and hold a Series 7, 63, or 66 license
• A builder who is comfortable at an early-stage company, where you'll shape the playbook rather than inherit one
• Strong writer and presenter, and equally at ease in a Zoom with an advisor and a working session with our engineers

Compensation:

• Base salary of $120,000 - $150,000.
• OTE $300,000
• Variable commission based on the number of activated advisor accounts and advisor-reported satisfaction
