Position Summary:

Five Star Mitsubishi is seeking skilled and motivated  Service Technicians to join our expanding team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer vehicles while ensuring a high level of quality service. You will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for excellence by delivering reliable and efficient vehicle repairs and maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs efficiently and accurately according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose vehicle problems and malfunctions using diagnostic tools, computer software, and other testing equipment.
• Carry out repairs, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical, and air conditioning systems.
• Communicate clearly with Service Advisors about vehicle issues, repair timelines, and necessary parts or labor.
• Perform warranty and recall repairs as per manufacturer guidelines.
• Test and ensure proper functionality of all repaired vehicles before returning them to customers.
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work completed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Stay current on the latest technical information and updates from Mitsubishi and other manufacturers.
• Adhere to all safety and environmental protocols while working in the shop.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an automotive technician, preferably in a dealership environment.
• ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification is highly desirable.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proficiency with computerized diagnostic tools and repair software.
• Ability to work efficiently, meet deadlines, and maintain high quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
