About the Role
On behalf of our client—a leading powersports and vehicle manufacturer known for designing and building off-road vehicles, snowmobiles, motorcycles, and related products—we are seeking a Central Sourcing Contractor to support their Sourcing Organization from a tactical standpoint. In this role, you'll partner closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to keep daily sourcing operations running smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to gain hands-on experience within a fast-paced, high-impact supply chain environment while supporting both the Category and New Product Introduction (NPI) Sourcing teams. As a Central Sourcing Contractor, you will support the Sourcing Organization by reaching out to suppliers, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and following established work instructions to complete daily tasks. You'll help maintain and refine these work instructions as processes evolve, and you may assist in administering meetings, organizing presentations, and managing the storage of those materials. This position supports the Category and NPI Sourcing teams as they develop and implement strategies for assigned categories in alignment with the broader Commodity Strategy. You will manage daily and weekly tasks that help sourcing teams oversee the supply base and ensure all suppliers meet four key priorities: Delivery, Quality, New Product Integration, and Cost Competitiveness.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Supplier Relations:

• Request BOL/shipping documentation from suppliers.
• Enter cost changes, maintain parts systematically, and support sourcing projects as requested by the Sourcing Agents.
• Enter tooling requests into the system as requested by Sourcing Agents.
• Assist with new supplier onboarding and supplier profile edits.

Sourcing Priority Management:

• Identify continuous improvement opportunities within the process and workflow.
• Track and communicate the progress of daily tasks.
• Maintain current costing as requested by Sourcing Agents.
• Work with suppliers, plants, planning, and Accounts Payable to resolve invoice quantity discrepancies.
• Partner with sourcing, accounts payable, quality, and engineering team members to resolve issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

• Fast-paced office environment.
• Up to 5% travel may be required.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a similar field.
• Strong team player who collaborates effectively across functions.
• Highly detail-oriented.
• Strong communicator via both email and phone, with excellent written and verbal communication skills within the team and cross-functionally.
• Highly organized and effective at managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to professionally represent our client by developing productive working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Effective negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable analyzing data, pulling reports, and utilizing different systems.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), including strong PowerPoint presentation development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous materials or purchasing experience.
• APICS CPIM and/or ISM C.P.M./A.P.P. certification.
