School - Staff - St. David Catholic School PreK Teacher Aide (Full-Time) Published: 02/27/2026 St. David Catholic School is hiring for a full-time Prekindergarten Teacher Aide for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. The PreK Teacher Assistant works as part of a teaching team, assists the classroom teacher in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment, and communicates effectively with children, parents, co-workers, and administration. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Qualifications: Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or associated degree. Department of Children and Family (DCF) 45-hour training as well as DCF level 2 background screening. ELC (Early Learning Center) courses for SR (School Readiness) and VPK (Voluntary PK) completed. CPR First-Aid certification is preferred. Attend meetings and professional developments as required. Strong oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice. Good spelling and grammar are required. Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred. Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
