Travel Med Surg RN | Nights | 13-Week Contract

We're hiring an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse for a fast-paced post-operative unit specializing in orthopedic, spine, bariatric, and general surgery patients.

Location: Kentucky

Specialty: Med Surg RN

Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12)

Contract: 13 Weeks

Requirements:

• ✅ Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience
• ✅ First-time travelers welcome if they have extensive post-op surgical experience, especially with Orthopedic and GI surgical patients
• ✅ Active Kentucky or Compact RN License
• ✅ AHA BLS required (ACLS not required)

Unit Highlights:

• 23-bed Medical Surgical unit
• Care for Orthopedic, Spine, General Surgery, Bariatric , and occasional Medical patients
• Fast-paced unit with 10–20 post-op admissions daily
• Cardiac and oxygen monitoring capabilities
• EKG competency exam required during onboarding
• Float within skill set as needed

Submission Requirements:

• RTO must be submitted with your application
• At least 1 professional reference
• Previous employment with the health system must be disclosed
• No active license or background issues
• Local candidates within 100 miles are not eligible
