Job Title: Warehouse Worker Job Description
The primary responsibility of a warehouse worker is to efficiently receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from the stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard.
Responsibilities

• Receive and count stock items, recording data manually or using a computer.
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
• Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
• Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
• Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.
• Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in shipping & receiving, and inspection.

• Willingness to work a flexible shift.
• Ability to stand for at least 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Capability to perform tasks including pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting with or without reasonable accommodation.

Work Environment
The warehouse operates with multiple shift options, including early morning and late evening hours. Employees must be adaptable to work in varying conditions with a focus on safety and efficiency. The dress code is casual and practical to suit the demands of the work environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Northlake, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
