The company operates interstate natural gas pipelines and gathering & processing operations throughout the USA.Company Size: 6000Education: Required: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (delivered from an ABET-accredited university only) and eight (8) years engineering experience in natural gas, data centers or related industry. Ideally PE License or Master's degree in electrical engineering. For degrees earned outside the U.S., the degree/University must be ABET-accredited to be acceptable.Experience: Power Generation and Controls experience 8+ years engineering experience in natural gas, data centers, or related industryKey Competencies: Proficiency in reviewing arc flash studies and implementing improvements Working knowledge of electrical design codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE, etc.) Experience with PLCs Project Management experience Experience in Pre-FEED, FEED, or EPC of small to medium facility projects Proficiency in designing and implementing Instrumentation systems, including PLCs and HMI systemsRequired tools/systems/platforms/protocols/processes mastery: Familiarity with leading hardware and software platforms (Allen Bradley, Rockwell, Honeywell, Delta V), industrial communication protocols (HART, Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet IP), and control systems (Factory Talk, Ladder Logic, SCADA). You'll apply your technical expertise to integrate advanced technologies like automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage, driving efficiency and innovation across operations. A key part of your role is ensuring safety through the implementation of arc flash mitigation, fault detection systems, and rigorous compliance with regulatory and environmental standards. You'll also manage complex projects from concept to completion, aligning engineering solutions with business goals and timelines.
