• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Critical Care Float Pool experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.
• 6 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required with 6 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience preferred due to the complexity and high acuity of the patients. Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Holiday time off must be approved by manager. Unit Details: The ICU Float Cluster includes Tower 2, Tower 4, and 4 Neuro. Tower 2 cares for medical, surgical, and trauma patients. Tower 4 is a cardiothoracic ICU specializing in lung transplants and ECMO. 4 Neuro is a neuro-specific ICU. Telemetry assignments have a 1:4 patient ratio. The ICU areas use all critical drips. Respiratory support includes ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen. The units use GE telemetry equipment. Shift & Scheduling: Day shifts run 7AM-7:30PM. Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4 weeks; weekends are Saturdays and Sundays. Holidays will be required based on unit needs. The schedule is provided 4 weeks in advance and can be changed two weeks in advance based on hospital needs. No call; if placed on standby due to low census, response time is 30 minutes. Floating Requirements: Will float among all ICU areas and any Med/Surg/Tele units, including sister campuses St. Joseph Westgate in Glendale and AZ General Laveen. Floating assignments cannot be refused. Travelers are expected to function independently when floated to an outside area but are not expected to specialize in everything or take the most acute patients in every area. Details: - AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined. 7 days maximum time off.
