Registered Nurse - Medical Step-Down

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Two shifts available:

• Days: 12-hour shifts - 7am-7pm
• Nights: 12-hour shifts - 7pm-7am

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Medical Step-Down unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing care to patients who meet the Medical Step-Down level of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to step-down patients.
• Monitor and manage patient vitals and medical records.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1-year critical care or step-down experience.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• 2 years of critical care or step-down experience.
• Professional certifications recognized by the Magnet Association.
