For more information, visit corporate.carrier.com.The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for leading the site's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with corporate, regulatory, customer, and industry standards while driving a culture of quality and continuous improvement. This role provides strategic and operational leadership for quality assurance, quality control, supplier quality, customer quality, and quality systems activities. The Quality Assurance Manager partners closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and Customer Service teams to improve product quality, reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), enhance customer satisfaction, and support business growth initiatives.We value our people and offer an extensive benefits package, with financial rewards including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and lifestyle support with flexible working and parental leave. Plus, we'll support your growth with paid-for external training programs and courses.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and facilitate quality improvement projectsImplement and sustain quality tools into daily manufacturing culture (5S, Standard Work, Root Cause Analysis, PDCA, etc.)Analyze operational data, identify opportunities for process optimization, quality improvement, and cost savingsDevelop and implement standard work procedures, improve consistency and reduce variability in operationsEducate lower-level and peer employees on how to apply quality tools and methodologies in business and manufacturing environments to drive best in class processes and productsCoach lower-level and peer employees on how to apply best practices related to quality control procedures to effectively evaluate an organization's productsPartner with Operations and Engineering to improve process capability and product qualityPrioritize safety and compliance with regulatory requirements in operational activitiesLead customer, ISO 9001, and ASME audits from the quality perspectiveSupport new product introduction (NPI), process validation, and risk management activities including FMEA and control plansBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree and 7+ years of quality management experience or Master's degree and 5+ years of quality management experienceLean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt CertificationPreferred QualificationsTechnical writing to create, review, & approve protocols/reports, work instructions, forms, and SOPsWritten & verbal English communication skillsDrive & execute projects, meet project timelines, work cooperatively, lead by using project planning skills and documentationASQ Certified Quality Manager (CMQ/OE) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)Pay RangeThe annual salary for this position is between $143,000.00 - $286,000.00 annually.
