Accounting Clerk-Part TimeAccounting Clerks play a crucial role in managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate record-keeping within the venue. Accounting Clerks review invoices and reconcile accounts to maintain financial accuracy. Accounting Clerks ensure that financial records are up-to-date and comply with company policies and regulatory standards. Accounting Clerks possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of financial processes.Essential FunctionsAnswering general office telephones, provide customer service and office supportAccounts Receivable: create invoices, send them to customers and occasionally receive and post paymentsAccounts Payable: create purchase orders, match deliveries to PO, receive POs, match invoices to POs; invoice entry; vendor file maintenancePayroll: employee file maintenance, process employee time records, submit payroll files accurately and on time.Data Entry: assist other departments as neededMust be organized with storage and maintenance of all financial recordsEnsuring that all accounting and operational accounting functions are being performed in the most effective and efficient fashion, while conforming to the Standard Operating Procedures of the Company.Assisting in the processes which ensure accurate, timely financial statements for the location.Monitor receivables while proactively reducing outstanding collectibles.Working with various departments to meet reporting needs.Providing audit support for all financial and operational activities.Monitor the administration of appropriate controlsAssist other departments and perform other duties as assigned.Practice safe work habits and complete company and venue safety and general compliance training.Maintain a pleasant and collaborative attitude towards customers, co-workers, and management.Adheres to the Legends Global and venue company policies.Complete other duties assigned by management.Available to work part time days (between 10-15 hours weekly; seasonally (spring/summer/fall)QualificationsStrong attention to detail.Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes.Ability to be self-motivated and work independently and work well as a team player.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Education, preferred qualifications, and/or experienceAssociate's degree in accounting or finance, preferredOne to three years of accounting experience to include accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll.
