Jackson and Coker Locum Tenens
Jackson and Coker is seeking a highly skilled General Surgeon for a locums opportunity in North Carolina. This role involves providing 24-hour call coverage, including both inpatient and outpatient care. The ideal candidate will be Board Certified and proficient in a range of general surgical procedures. Practice Info Average surgical cases per month: 65 Support staff: 2 MDs, 1 Nurse EMR: EPIC Responsibilities Provide 24 hour call coverage Perform Inpatient & Outpatient coverage Perform required procedures: Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Bowel Obstructions, I&D, EGD, Amputation, Colonoscopy, Strangulated Hernia Provide ICU/Critical Care Benefits Weekly Direct Deposit Top Rated Malpractice Insurance In-House Travel Agency 24/7 Recruiter Availability Experienced In-House Privileging Coordinators Shift & Schedule September 25 (7am) – September 28 (7am) 24 hour Call Coverage, 7am-7am Requirements Active North Carolina license required Board Certified required Colonoscopy not required while on weekend call No codes
