Application Analyst (Non-Epic) - Radiation Oncology | 3+ Years of Experience | Remote (MST Hours) | Contract

Walker Healthforce is seeking an Application Analyst (Non-Epic) - Radiation Oncology with 3+ years of experience to support a healthcare organization's Radiation Oncology department. This is a 6-month Contract opportunity with strong potential for extension.

HOURS/SCHEDULE:
Full-time | MST Business Hours | Rotating On-Call Support Required

WORKER TYPE:
W2 Contractor

CORE REQUIREMENTS:
• 3+ years of healthcare IT application support experience
• Experience supporting Radiation Oncology applications and workflows
• Hands-on experience with Elekta Mosaiq
• Experience supporting Varian Linear Accelerators
• Knowledge of Radiation Oncology clinical and operational workflows
• Experience with application design, configuration, system builds, testing, and support
• Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and change management experience
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to support MST business hours
• Participation in rotating on-call support schedule
• Experience working directly with clinicians, providers, and operational stakeholders
• Strong documentation skills including build documentation, decision logs, and end-user training materials
• Experience managing application incidents through resolution and user communication
• Ability to execute testing plans and resolve defects for projects and enhancements

• Healthcare application analyst certifications
• Experience within large health systems or academic medical centers
• Knowledge of healthcare IT governance and change control processes
• Experience with workflow optimization initiatives

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide application support for the Department of Radiation Oncology
• Assist with design, configuration, maintenance, and system builds for Radiation Oncology applications
• Collaborate with clinical stakeholders, departmental operations staff, and IT teams to ensure systems support high-quality patient care, safety, and operational efficiency
• Support incident queue management, including issue intake, troubleshooting, build modifications, testing, and resolution
• Coordinate change management activities and communicate resolutions to end users
• Create and maintain comprehensive system build documentation, decision logs, and user training materials
• Execute testing activities and manage timely resolution of defects, issues, and optimization requests
• Participate in assigned projects, system enhancements, and operational support initiatives
• Ensure Radiation Oncology systems align with clinical and operational requirements
