Registered Nurse – PACUSchedule: Variable - Shifts vary between 8, 10, and 12 hours and can include Days, Evenings, Nights, and Weekends/Holidays.Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: Not guaranteedRequirements:Valid nursing license within the state of practice2+ years of experience as a critical care RN (e.g., ER & ICU) may be accepted as a substitute for PACU nurse experienceValid BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart AssociationPediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) credential recommendedSpecialty-related certifications (e.g., NIHSS, TNCC) preferredRoles & Responsibilities:Provide care for patients in the pre-operative and post-anesthesia recovery phases.Assess incision sites, monitor body temperature, and track other indicators of stability or complications.Demonstrate advanced knowledge of anesthesiology and the care of patients in Phase I recovery.Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Utilize critical thinking skills to respond to patient needs effectively.Compliance / Notes:Must apply for a State of HI license upon acceptance of the offer if not currently held.Proof of flu vaccination or an approved application for medical or religious exception required prior to contract start date.Must arrive the Thursday before the start to attend an employee health appointment on Friday.
