Director of Nursing

At Terraces of Lake Worth Care Center, located in Lake Worth, FL, we are dedicated to helping our residents maximize their potential and live their lives to the fullest. As a Director of Nursing, you will play a vital role in our team of caring professionals, providing exceptional nursing care and leadership to our residents. Our modern, comfortable, and secure facility offers sub-acute medical care, Rehabilitation services, and 24-hour skilled nursing care. We are committed to maintaining a facility where compassionate health care, nursing, and rehabilitation services are provided in an environment of respect, dignity, and personal attention to the needs of the individual.

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing to oversee the delivery of high-quality nursing care to our residents. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the nursing department to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care. Your strong leadership skills, nursing expertise, and ability to motivate and inspire your team will be essential in achieving our mission.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of nursing staff to provide exceptional care to our residents
Develop and implement nursing department policies, procedures, and standards
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care and effective communication
Monitor and evaluate the quality of care, making recommendations for improvement
Develop and manage the nursing department budget
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and professional nursing standards
Foster a positive and supportive work environment, promoting staff development and retention

Requirements

2 years of experience in a leadership role in a nursing setting
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Florida
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care and staff management
