Description Professional - Clinical location: Maine Medical Center Req #: 54090 Sign on Bonus: $20,000 Current Maine Health Employees not eligible – must be separated from MH for at least 6 months. Relocation for approved offers. Summary The MRI Technologist I role performs basic MRI exams and procedures. Schedule: Week 1 – Monday, Wednesday, Friday; Week 2 – Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Position takes weekend call (~8 weekends per year) and one weeknight every 3 weeks. Covers holidays. Does not work regular weekend hours. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology required. Graduate of an MRI program preferred, or completion of a direct pathway program. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license in Radiologic Technology required. ARRT-MR or ARMRIT MRI certification eligible. Must complete advanced certification in MRI by ARRT or ARMRIT within one year of hire. Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date. Experience: No experience required; one year of relevant experience preferred. Additional Skills/Requirements: N/A.
