Overview/Summary:
Our Client is a global professional services firm that provides engineering, design, construction, and consulting solutions across infrastructure, advanced manufacturing, energy, water, and government sectors.

In this role, you'll work with a knowledgeable and supportive team as you prepare estimates by reviewing and comprehending scope documents, developing project work breakdown structures, calculating complete scope of work take-offs, assist contracts staff with statements of work for subcontractors and vendors, apply construction means and methods, calculate indirect field and owner's costs, and meeting necessary deadlines. General Contracting construction background is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop capital cost estimates for projects.
• Review contractor proposals for various procurement types.
• Review and validate change orders
• Interface with external clients in the presentation of capital costs.
• Maintain organized and detailed files, project records and logs.
• Attend project meetings as required

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizen Required
• At least 5-10 years of estimating and construction experience related to bldg and civil construction
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Progressive and successful cost estimating experience in all projects phases
• Proficient use of MS Office products, Sage Timberline, MII estimating software and BlueBeam (Heavy Bid a plus)
• Minimum amount of Travel ,with personal vehicle
• Alternative delivery procurement experience
• Understanding of the relationship between cost, risk and schedule
• Certifications such as a CEP, CCP, PMP, or CCM are a plus
