PRN Every other weekend required

7am- 3pm

2PM-10PM

Psychosocial Aide Position:  

Provide group psychosocial rehabilitation services to adults. Participates with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement and evaluate effective therapeutic services 

Responsibilities:   

• Provide socialization/stimulation to residents in the facility 

• Assist with crisis intervention as needed 

• Address residents' concerns and goals while maintaining constant communication with the residents as well as their social worker 

• Monitor or assist during smoking times 

• Assist during facility mealtimes  

• Assit with resident's mail delivery

• Assist with resident inspection upond entry

Requirements:  

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. 

• CNA certification preferred. 

• Must have basic computer skills 

• Must have patience and able to manage stress 

• Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding for older adults 

• High level of confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards
