Every day.CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Power & Manufacturing – Generation & Energy Management Team at our Boston, MA; Burlington, MA; or Norwell, MA office.What You'll Do:CHA is a leader in sustainable district energy, power and thermal generation systems. Our approach includes critical systems that are maintainable and operable with redundant, fail-safe backups. Our expertise encompasses gas turbines, steam turbines, reciprocating engines, gas plants, biomass plants, coal-fired boiler plants, chiller plants, high-voltage substation, and more. From the early stages of master planning and permitting through comprehensive detailed design, we partner with our clients to create solutions that provide reliable, sustainable energy.At CHA, the Senior Project Manager works diligently to complete projects within the scope, budget and schedule while thoroughly understanding all project risks and applicable financial measures. This senior, key role is responsible for managing the overall client relationship including any technical, financial or logistical issues that may arise. Our Senior Project Managers are skilled collaborators who are experts at problem solving and adapting and staying calm under pressure. The professional in this role sells and develops work with specific clients, ultimately leading to a "seller/doer" dual role.Our Senior Project Managers are leaders in identification of target market areas and marketing plan development. This individual clearly and successfully communicates updates to the client, management and project team, as well as prepares for and attends monthly project review meetings with operations. Find your "why" at CHA!What You Bring:Bachelor's Degree in engineering, architecture, science, planning, engineering management or a related degree is requiredPE or equivalent professional license preferredPMP Certification preferredA minimum of 11 years of experience required; a minimum of 8 years of project management experience requiredExperience preparing proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations and project closeout documents for projects requiredDemonstrated experience in managing client relationshipsExperience understanding and interpreting client contract requirementsAbility to track and oversee multiple projects requiredExperience utilizing problem-solving skills, exercising discretion, and making independent judgments requiredExperience managing project accounting processes to include project budgeting, forecasts and cash management requiredExperience in Microsoft Office suite requiredKnowledge of Deltek Vision preferredAn articulate and persuasive communicator with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiencesKnowledge of MS Project and/or Primavera P6 preferredAbility to travel as needed requiredSalary Range:$160,000 - $190,000Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.Culture/EEO Statement:At CHA, we work every day to create solutions, help people, and improve our world, committed to creating and fostering excellence in our diverse and highly talented teams.
