The right person will help find the work, estimate the work, win the work, manage the work, and build the systems needed to grow the division.This role is ideal for a senior commercial electrical professional who has already operated at a high level in project management, estimating, field coordination, and General Contractor relationship-building. ProConnect is looking for someone who is excited by the opportunity to help build a growing division, not someone looking for a cushy lateral move into a fully established structure.You will step into a company with an established foundation, recognizable project history, and a growing electrical division that needs a proactive leader who can bring structure, relationships, estimating discipline, and execution horsepower.What You’ll DoLead electrical projects from bid review through final closeoutReview plans, specifications, scopes of work, and bid documentsPerform takeoffs and prepare accurate electrical estimatesIdentify which bid opportunities are worth pursuing based on project type, size, margin, schedule, and company fitBuild and maintain relationships with General Contractors, estimators, project managers, vendors, and field partnersHelp ProConnect get onto new GC bid lists and generate repeat bidding opportunitiesConvert estimating opportunities into awarded projectsManage project schedules, budgets, labor planning, materials, documentation, and field executionCoordinate with foremen and internal field crews to keep work moving efficientlyAnticipate project risks, scope gaps, change-order opportunities, material needs, access issues, and schedule constraintsHelp determine labor needs and support crew ramp-up or ramp-down based on project demandSupport hiring, mentoring, and development of field and operational team members as the division growsCreate and improve SOPs, estimating standards, project workflows, communication processes, and operational systemsCommunicate clearly with internal teams, GCs, vendors, subcontractors, clients, and field crewsHelp shape ProConnect Electric into a stronger, more scalable, stand-alone side of the business.Required QualificationsSignificant experience in electrical contracting, project management, and estimatingStrong commercial electrical backgroundExperience managing electrical projects from bid review through closeoutAbility to perform takeoffs, build estimates, review scopes, and support bidding strategyExperience working directly with General Contractors, estimators, project managers, vendors, and field teamsAbility to identify viable bid opportunities and help pursue new workExperience managing schedules, budgets, labor planning, materials, field execution, and documentationAbility to lead foremen and coordinate internal field crewsExperience with projects ranging from approximately $25K to $1.5M+ in electrical scopeStrong communication, leadership, organization, and follow-throughComfort using digital tools, communication platforms, and estimating/project documentation systemsComfortable working in-office and traveling to job sites as neededWillingness to travel up to 30% to project sites across Southern CaliforniaPreferred Qualifications10+ years of electrical industry experienceElectrical license or certification preferredExperience estimating and managing the same projects from bid through completionExisting relationships in the Southern California commercial construction marketExperience helping grow, scale, or professionalize an electrical division, department, or business unitExperience creating SOPs, estimating standards, labor planning processes, or project management workflowsExperience hiring, mentoring, or managing electricians, foremen, journeymen, or field crewsExperience with tenant improvements, commercial buildouts, multifamily, lighting controls, medical facilities, public works, or prevailing wage projectsExperience with digital estimating software, Microsoft Teams, and modern project communication toolsBachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, or a
