Cath Lab Technologist (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)

Provide essential support to physicians and cath lab personnel during diagnostic tests and procedures. Operate advanced imaging equipment to capture data of the heart and vascular system. Opportunity includes work in a hospital cath lab environment with electrophysiology studies and radiofrequency ablation procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist required.
• Electrophysiology (EP) study and Radiofrequency (RF) ablation experience required.
• Ability to scrub and circulate for cardiovascular arterial and venous procedures including vascular angiography, angioplasty, arteriography, electrophysiology, hemodynamic measurements, and PPM/AICD insertion and replacements.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Cath Lab hospital setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association preferred).
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting fluoroscopy and ultrasound equipment.
• Experience managing inventory and supplies under PAR levels and monitoring per-case expenses.
• State-specific licensure as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
• Experience with ambulatory care or freestanding cath lab operations preferred.
• Experience using HST electronic medical record system preferred.

Assignment Details

• Day shift. Typical hours based on surgery, typically 06:0016:30.
• Schedule flexible: either 5x8-hour or 4x10-hour shifts.
• Work schedule is Monday through Friday.
• Facility closed on July 4 and Labor Day; those days off will be observed.
