Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct individualized assessments and develop tailored therapy strategies that align with each client’s unique needs and goals. \n
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, groups, couples, and families through video conferencing. \n
- Implement a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy. \n
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with legal and ethical standards. \n
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients. \n
- Participate in ongoing professional development, including workshops and training sessions, to stay updated on mental health advancements and best practices. \n
Our client population primarily consists of individuals and families who may face barriers to accessing mental health services. Many of our clients are experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Your role will involve fostering a supportive and therapeutic environment that empowers clients to work through their challenges and achieve their personal goals.
Qualifications\n- \n
- Must hold a Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field. \n
- Licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York is required. \n
- A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical context is essential. \n
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) software and telehealth platforms is preferred. \n
- Comprehensive understanding of legal, ethical, and confidentiality standards in mental health practice. \n
- Excellent communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport with diverse clients and collaborate effectively within healthcare teams. \n

- Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse treatment is highly desirable. \n
- Demonstrated experience in providing therapy in a telehealth setting or willingness to learn and adapt to a remote working environment. \n
