Job Summary:
This position is for an MRI Technologist located in Newark, New York. The role involves performing advanced magnetic resonance imaging procedures across various anatomical regions, including adult and pediatric care, with a focus on trauma, outpatient, and acute care settings. Candidates are required to bring their state license on the first day of employment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with shifts from 12:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

Job Details:

• Shift: 5 days a week, 8 hours per day, Monday - Friday, 12:30 pm - 8:30 pm. No call, weekends, or holidays.
• Required Qualifications: Valid New York State license, ARRT-R certification, BLS certification, MRI certification, and at least 1 year of relevant experience. Candidates within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted. Candidates must have Epic charting system experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with Epic electronic medical records, community hospital experience, and trauma level I or II experience are preferred.
• Additional Information: Candidates will be expected to perform a wide range of MRI procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, neuro, musculoskeletal, and vascular imaging. They will be responsible for preparation and administration of contrast media, radiation safety, starting peripheral IVs, and managing PPE and isolation precautions. Training modules are billable for up to 5 hours; total module hours may reach 10.
• Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 12:30 pm - 8:30 pm.
• Certifications: ARRT-R, BLS, MRI certification.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of technical experience required.
• Location: Newark, New York.
• Additional Requirements: Must have in-hand NY State license to submit; candidates within 75 miles are not accepted; candidate float may be required.
