As a member of the Whole Woman's Health team, the ideal candidate must be committed to providing care that involves the mind, soul, heart, and body.Essential FunctionsObstetric and gynecologic sonographers will specialize in intrauterine imaging, including gestational dating and identification of fetal development.Intraoperative imaging during office proceduresReview patient's medical history and physician's instructions.Keep patient records and adjusts/maintains equipment.Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.Comply with safety, infection control, and quality improvement polices/procedures.Preparing the diagnostic equipment before appointmentsDiscussing the procedure and medical history with patientsPositioning the patient to produce the highest-quality imagesEnsuring the generated images are clear and capture the necessary informationExperience and General RequirementsObstetric and gynecologic imaging experience requiredMust have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, instrumentation, basic physics, patient care, and medical ethics.Experience with infection control and quality improvements practices in order to maintain a safe work environment.Skilled in communication and interpersonal interactions; able to establish and maintain effective work relationships with patients, medical staff, management, and peers.Ability to gather and analyze patient data and explain technical procedures and results to patients in an easy-to-understand manner.Understanding of empathy, with the ability to calm patients who may be nervous about the procedure.Bilingual candidates are preferred.In-Person Work Expectations:Ability to perform job duties on-site, which may include sitting, standing, walking, or lifting up to 20 lbs as needed.Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance during scheduled work hours.Uphold safety and confidentiality standards in all work areas.Engage respectfully and compassionately with patients, visitors, and team members.Adapt to a dynamic environment while maintaining professionalism and composure.Willingness to use new technologies or communication tools to support workflow and collaboration.Compensation/BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience.401(k) plan with 3% company match.Flexible scheduling and strong family support programs.A mission-driven, inclusive, and supportive culture centered around compassion, equity, and advocacy.Additional perks including employee discounts and virtual team-building activities.Please note that this is a working job description that may evolve as the needs of the company change.Whole Woman's Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer and we welcome applications from women, people of color, and members of the LBGTQI community.
