Job responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with ADLs and IADLs for clients in the home setting (hygiene, incontinence care, mobility/transfer support, light housekeeping, meal preparation).
- Establish and maintain effective communication and a professional relationship with clients, family members, and co-workers.
- Perform duties as assigned on personal care service plan, documentation upon completion.
- Help keep the client's environment clean and organized.
- Remind client to take self-administered medications.
- Report changes in the client's condition to provide quality of care.
Required skills:
- 2 years professional experience (CNA, HHA, PCA), provide professional references.
- Alzheimer's/dementia experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Proof of current car insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
