Based near Austin, TX, we're an industry leader in the fire alarm industry and focus on large commercial projects throughout the local market. We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our service & programming team.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems according to specifications and codes.
• Focus on commercial projects with a focus on Edwards/EST panels
• Conduct routine inspections and testing of fire alarm systems to ensure functionality and compliance.
• Respond to service calls for troubleshooting and repairs of fire alarm systems.
• Document all service and inspection activities in accordance with industry standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with clients to address concerns and provide solutions regarding fire alarm systems.
• Stay up-to-date with fire alarm technology and industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Technician or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of fire alarm systems and inspection processes.
• Active FAL, EST 3/4, or NICET certifications are required
• Familiarity with NFPA standards and OSHA regulations.
• Relevant certifications or licenses in fire alarm installation and maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to drive a company vehicle
• Willing to work on an on-call rotation
