Key Responsibilities\nAs a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Melody Mend, you will:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments through individual and couples therapy sessions, providing tailored therapeutic interventions based on each client’s needs. \n
- Develop treatment plans aimed at addressing issues such as alcohol abuse, family conflicts, grief, and adjustment to life transitions including separation and divorce. \n
- Facilitate family therapy sessions to navigate challenges including blended families, communication difficulties, and conflicts among family members. \n
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and methodologies in treatment sessions. \n
- Regularly engage in clinical supervision and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and stay abreast of best practices in the field. \n
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress in compliance with organizational and legal standards. \n
Your work will involve interaction with a diverse clientele, including couples and individual adults, as well as adolescents and children. You will address a range of issues tailored to the unique circumstances of families, such as job stress, physical and emotional abuse, and challenges associated with separation or divorce. Your passion for patient care will help create a safe, supportive environment that encourages healing and growth.
Qualifications\nTo be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

- A valid and active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Massachusetts. \n
- A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field. \n
- A proven track record in providing family and couples therapy using a variety of therapeutic approaches. \n
Ideal candidates will have experience working with diverse populations and families facing various challenges. We value both recently licensed professionals and those with extensive experience in the field. Additionally, flexibility in availability (30 hours+/week) is preferred to accommodate our clientele's needs.
