Pharmacist | Connersville, Indiana

This night shift pharmacist position offers the opportunity to work in a 200-bed community hospital located in Indiana. The role involves providing expert pharmaceutical care during overnight hours, ensuring safe and effective medication use in a fast-paced hospital environment. This is a contract role with an ASAP start and a six-month assignment, with potential to transition to permanent employment.


Location: Indiana (Connersville)

Schedule:

• 7 nights on, 7 nights off
• Night shift hours: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians during shifts
• Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
• Consult and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff on medication therapy

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Current Indiana pharmacist license required
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Ability to work independently on night shifts
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is a plus
