Manual Machinist Details:

• Direct hire position
• $25.00 to $35.00 / hour
• First shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:30pm)

• Set up and operate manual lathes and milling machines from raw stock
• Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Determine machining sequence, tooling, and workholding
• Machine parts to tight tolerances (±.001" or better)
• Select and adjust feeds and speeds based on material
• Perform in-process inspection (micrometers, calipers, indicators)
• Troubleshoot issues (chatter, finish quality, dimensional accuracy)
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Manual Machinist Qualifications:

Preferred:

• Experience grinding your own tools
• Basic CNC knowledge (Haas)

Required:

• 5+ years of manual machining experience (lathe & mill required)
• Strong ability to read blueprints and work independently
• Experience holding tight tolerances consistently
• Solid understanding of machining fundamentals (feeds, speeds, tooling)
• Ability to set up jobs from scratch (not just run parts)
