What We Offer Novant Health seeks a part‑time Registered Respiratory Therapist II (RRT) at Mint Hill Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. Schedule: Part‑time | 7 pm to 7 am | Night Shift. Licensure/Certification: Current RCP licensure in appropriate state, required. What You'll Do Act as a patient advocate for the patient and their support system by incorporating education into the interdisciplinary care plan. Prioritize job duties according to patients' needs and changing acuity levels and ensure timely completion of care interventions and medical orders. Administer and evaluate medication therapies, perform patient transfers and transports. Evaluate patient needs and provide appropriate routine respiratory care such as ABGs and bronchial hygiene therapy, as well as perform higher levels of care in critical care areas and emergent situations. Demonstrate independence in Respiratory Care, practicing according to state requirements and standards. Critical Care specific: ventilator management, code blue, airway management, interpretation and intervention with blood gas analysis, use of all related protocols for patient care.
