About the Position

Job Title: RN - Wound Care Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Wound Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: - Minimum of five years experience in acute patient care. - Minimum of two years experience in wound care. License: - Current RN license in Florida. Certifications: - BLS - ACLS - NIHSS Must-Have: - Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program. - Strong leadership skills. - Ability to educate patients and staff. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Basic computer and data entry skills. Description: Assumes responsibility and accountability for inpatient skin and wound care management. Coordinates clinical services to provide consistent quality care for patients with wounds in the inpatient setting. Collaborates with physicians and healthcare professionals. Follows the framework of the Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. Wound care experience is preferred.
