Data Specialist

To support clinical trial initiatives, the part-time contract External Data Specialist will process external and local lab data, ensuring compliance with departmental SOPs and global standards while maintaining data integrity in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Perform quality control of laboratory normal ranges and data entry, ensuring compliance with ICH/CGP standards Review and provide recommendations on study protocols and data collection designs for local lab and external data Communicate data issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support study-specific data processes Required qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in a health-related field or equivalent experience preferred Medical Laboratory Technology certificate preferred Understanding of ICH/GCP guidelines and clinical trial methodology Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinical data management processes Ability to manage multiple projects independently while maintaining confidentiality
